Wrong account connected to steam.

I've had the same issue. EA Community Managers on these forums are telling us to contact EA Support and they will unlink the accounts for us, however I did this, and EA Support told me it is not possible for them to unlink them at all. So either 1 half of EA is completely misinformed or lying to us. I've gone back to support and asked if 2 accounts can be merged but I'm still waiting for a reply back. If that's a no dice, I'll ask them about deleting the EA account that has the link, and seeing if that will force a unlink. But at the moment we're stuck.
