It seems to be acceleration based as it occurs semi-intermittently. Lobby and in game with no input or continues after using left thumbstick points right with some vigor. Is repeatable even after reboot and controls being reset to default.
was having this same issue on Xbox One...increase your deadzone setting in options and it should resolve.
