Please can you revert back the old class restrictions that old Battlefield had where you had to pick a class with a specific weapon type to use the anti air missiles? Or at least nerf them for the love of God.Im not the type of person who complains but this is a big exeption. You can't fly a heli nor a jet plane to a certain degree because everyone uses the AA-12 rocket launcher, making air viechles usless because as soon as you fly anywhere near the ground you get targeted by 3-6 different players making you just wonder around in the sky without doing anything. I love flying jets and its very addicting but with the entire team using the AA-12 rocket launcher you cant do anything with air veichlesI wouldnt write this if it happened only once in a while but it happens every match which is irritating.

Dude Air vehicles currently are blatantly OP, the Wildcat is a Joke with C5 Drones and her mobility and the Stingers are useless since any air vehicle can just fly away from that tiny lock-on range from stingers or Soflams.If any, Air vehicle Nerfs are in order to balance some issues out for example that the Chopper gunner dont have unlimited ammo anymore and instead have a 30/30 beltfed 30mm gun who repelnish ammo over time.The same for Scout Helis, his 12 Rockets deals more damage to infantry and ignore irish' shot down sentinel, the biggest joke by far.You still get points by destroyed missiles but they ignore the sentinel and just fly through and explode anyway, making your safezone not so safe anymore.therefore either fix irish sentinel so that is blocks scoutheli rockets properly or nerf the damage from those missiles.

Wait.....AA op? You get 3 shots, and the first will always get flaired. You'd be lucky to take down a heli in the remaining 2 hits. The range on them is abysmal when you consider map size and vehicle weapon range. The maps are much taller than BF4, and a help can literally always be above lock on range. Any tree limb or smoke will stop AA lock on as well. Compared to any other BF game, the AA-12 sucks quite a bit. I don't think I've ever played a game where the heli's weren't just overpowering anyone using them.

Jets are so fast you shouldn't really be in an area long enough to receive an effective lock most of the time and I've seen plenty of heli pilots do exceptionally well even with a concerted effort to counter them.Honestly I'd say air/ground balance is in a pretty good place right now with neither being particularly over powering over the other. Air assets still do a ton of damage to ground but they aren't without effective counters like in a number of older Battlefield games.

@BerzerkExperter Stingers are an issue if you are an avarage chopper pilot.
Good chopper pilots fly low with highspeed most of the time thats why its hard to lock on to them.
Im not a good chopper pilot either, but i do fly the jets now and then and i never have issues with stinger.

I do though have issues with choppers farming infantry and thus i always run stinger pretty much on any setup i play. There is nothing for annoying that getting killed over and over again by a chopper, that can even sneak up on you because the audio in this game is awful.

The real issue is the mapdesign. I would rather take cover when seeing a chopper than feeling the urge to constantly run Stinger in my setup. But no i have to run from one objective to annother in waste open space where only chance of survival is to Stinger the heli och hope he flyes away.

I understand, yes helis are op against infantry but this game(Or everyother battlefield atleast) should be about teamwork and not whatever this Cod/BF hybrid * EA released
How the food chain should be
Air:Anti Air Tank->Jets and Battle Chopper->Heli->Infantry
Ground:Tanks->Other Viechles->Infantry
How the food chain is
Air:Infantry->Anti Air Tank->Jets and Battle Chopper->Heli
Ground:Infantry->Tank->Other viechles
There should be some teamwork involved to combat other veichles
Your team getting destroyed by a Heli? Call in a Jet or a Anti Air Tank
Your Team getting destroyed by a Tank? Call in a Battlechopper or someone uses a class with a specific weapon type so they can bring the RPG
In this games current state using veichles is just a "hobby" and not something your team needs because Infantry is on top of the food chain. Battlefield tried copying CODs class system which was not meant for a game like BF

@BerzerkExperter I agree with the class restrictions but not with your reasoning.

Great pilots can easily work around all infantry held AA or kill them before they are a problem. The only thing choppers should even get killed by are Jets and maybe other choppers who get the drop on you.

@GRiPSViGiL My issue is that too many people have acces to the AA-12 missile, doesnt matter if you have the best skills with the heli if 5 people are trying to shoot you down everytime you get near the ground. After some consideration on how i presented my argument i changed my mind, if its too late for BF to add class restricions then they should set a restriction on how many people can pick a certain gadget at the same time, like 7 people can run for example the AA missile at the same time like for example a certain amount of people can have veichles at the same time. This would encourage some teamwork and synergy with their gadgets and veichles would have a porpuse
