About nxt gen battlefield, feedback recap, about performance, and the balance

so about battlefield, lets do a quick recap:

previously i send some feedback about battlefield 1 TTK time of sniper rifle, and random weapon spread issues that affect too much of the weapon handling, and DLC weapon was PAY 2 WIN weapon, too many DLCs but not enough people to play DLC contents, too many unlockable that from DLC contents, and performance issue since battlefield 1. (i know my rig is too low, but i must spend money more carefully now, so still using AMD FX-8300 with GTX 1050, which design based on PS4 Pro rig)

previously i believe upgrade the code and tech can improve the performance, but turns out battlefield 2042 in PS4 Pro only can play 32v32 mode with 20 hz (ticks) server, unlike battlefield 1 and V can play 32v32 with 30 hz, even in the future i will upgrade to XBOX Series S or X but not upgrade my PC, im still worry about the performance issue, i still believe upgrade the code and tech at least is the good things.

now Delta Force Hawk Ops, u can play this game even in ur smart phone, i don't have much request, just can able to play the new battlefield with a stable 30 fps or more on PS4 Pro, and can able to crossplay with PC players; the reason why need to improve the performance bc the first thing that online service game need is the people, a lot of people, then decide the people to spend more money or more time (for example if this game cost too much money, then increase the time that user have to spend, and made a shortcut way that user can spend money on it, and yes online service game only, well that's why we have premium season pass and subscription); anyway pls improve the performance and experience.

also the gameplay, the balance is broken, idk why bring a pro gamer when before the release of Battlefield V, and DICE not balance anything useful at that time, but i guess now DICE learn they need to balance something, the balance between vehicles and soldiers, and the balance about maps, gadget, visual and weapon, all they done before about those balance are really terrible, it feels like they don't care the sh*t at that time, and at the end the game still need to be fun, i hope the nxt gen battlefield did learn every lesson that from battlefield 2042: cut the player number in the game to 32v32, continue improve the weapon handling, continue no gameplay DLCs, continue returning to original classes system, and the most important thing, the balance, make it less difficult to/for balance so the community can continue made good feedback, not like previous we have to feel what part is bad, then we discuss the cheater issues, for now we can sus many players are cheating, which mean is too hard to made a good report.

the other things, the game experience, the good side of battlefield 1, is the gameplay feels like experiencing the war, and many good gamemode that player can play; and also bring back server browser, so we can have community server in it; and skin, i can accept non-serious skins are add in the game tbh, just not go for too much.

  • It's true, Battlefield is extremely CPU heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if Battlefield 7 is more taxing on the CPU than Battlefield 2042.

I expect Battlefield 7 will have the same CPU requirements as 2042 though, since PlayStation 6 hasn't been released yet.

Hopefully DICE can hit a framerate of 60fps on PS5 and increase the server tick rate to 60Hz as well.

It might be possible with 64 players instead of 128 players.

Looks like the perfect time to put money away for a newer computer or build yourself a new one. The computer specs are only going to get steeper.

Hopefully they leave last-gen in the dust and stick with current-gen and PC.

    That would be amazing

Also with them going back to 64 I would think less CPU right? Or was the main issues with 128 servers were that they weren't the best servers?

@GrizzGolf Having more players on a server stresses the CPU. That's why some PC players get a higher frame rate on servers with less players.

@Anobix Last gen consoles will probably only get 32 player servers and a frame rate of 30fps
