The way the PP-29 felt to use even though very overused and overpowered compared to all the other weapons it felt like a really nice and solid weapon to use. I was hoping after the patch that they would make AR's feel similair to this and make the PP-29 nerfs based on balance to keep it for CQB use.But instead the PP-29 has been nerfed beyond useable and the AR's still feel hard to use anything passed close to med range. Anything medium and beyond there is no hope you stand still to get spread under control the the enemy just stops and insta gibs cuz well you weren't moving and are an easy target. If any of the 63 other enemies havn't got you.Imo the only place weapons feel nice to use is CQC anything beyond it just up to the random recoil and spread plus the endless bullets that end up in the void and are never registered.I feel the way they "balanced" the PP-29 feels like they have no clue what they are doing when looking at balance. Same with the little bird 20mm.

A few bursts will land with high percentage within 50m, and they are reliable in close quarters. I think you may have gotten too used to the ease of use of the release version of the PP-29, and you need to practice controlling your rate of fire at longer ranges. If you want reliability at long range, use a bipod or DMR.

Might be hit registration. I know I’ve seen some hits pass straight through without doing damage. There’s a big update this week which could address this, and further rebalance weapons.

Spread isn’t really the issue anymore it’s the absolutely horrific hit detection that works when it can be bothered

I haven't had a problem. You need to work on your mechanical skill it sounds like?

AR spread hasn't really been fixed has it?

@nomakgaming_ttv So you are saying everything is fine after this patch? I tried the Scar and still has major spread issues from time to time.

@SkooLBoY_SkePtiK Up to 50m there is no issues thats close range still imo. But any weapon is good and accurate up to 50m. It’s beyond where ARs should have an edge but still feel the same issues as pre patch.

@doubleome Lol, I agree. The problem I see is the SMG will beat the AR at close range and both fight the same mid range. It's still trash at mid range which makes them useless. I'd just stick with an SMG for close to mid range since they have a usefulness to them. The Marksmen rifle like the SVK is king at mid range so anyone with an AR will lose 99% of the time. And they can't compete at all in the sniper division, long range.

AR still needs a buff to be useful at mid range to give people a strategic reason to use them.

AR's seem to feel a little better now but they also need to look at LMG's, been playing solo past days doing upgrades so had a chance to shoot a lot of easy AI's and LMG's are definitely weaker in comparison to AR's and register badly, also the 50. cal on vehicles register badly on AI's sometimes

@BangExperience Yeah LMGs are even worse off even when using a bipod things don’t change.
