Are people just stupid or do they not see marked enemies?

I'm new to bf 2024 but I played older bf games. I mark 50+ enemies every game and it's super rare that anyone on my team shoots the people when I mark them. Like I'll mark two sniper on a tower in the middle of the map 20-30 times before I have to redeploy as a sniper(which I suck at) just to take two easy shots to kill the snipers on the tower. My team will be fine with leaving the snipers on the towers and dying by those snipers for the entire game. I played a close quarters conquest game and I was marking enemies at the end of hallways and hiding behind crates and no one on my team would shoot them and they would sometimes just run right past the marked enemy.

Does just my squad see the enemies I marked https://xender.vip/ or does my whole team see the enemies I marked? I also, rarely see anyone else on my team mark enemies players.

@ElliotLH Yes. I first considered the possibility of Rao, but as I recall, there was no Rao in the squad at that time. So does that mean that Rao, when hacked, can highlight the location of the hacked enemy only to his allies?

@Gurz1019_MPYes I know, but if people frantically spam the ping button it is less effective. A few pings to update the location of the attacker suffices.

I tend to spam-ping when someone is coming to save me and an enemy is waiting close by. I always thaught that might warn people of the possible danger or trap, so they can either get rid of the enemy first or use some smoke for conceiling. It does not seem to always work though .

@Gurz1019_MP That's the bit I'm not sure of as I can't remember if the outlines are shown to the entire team when he hacks an enemy, or just to you.

It's a shame there wasn't time to grab a video as it might be easier to work out if it's a gadget/ability or someone being naughty.

@SharpGoblin If the enemy is waiting close by a single ping to mark his position should do, that is if people pay attention to their minimap, killfeed and surroundings, which is becoming more of a rarity these days.
Same goes for people using smoke for concealed revives.

@GrizzGolf As said that either has to do with the lack of game sense of the majority of players. You would think that players could figure out themselves that a died teammate might mean there's an enemy in the area so best would be not to rush in for a revive, but instead secure the area first.
And then there's the issue of the still broken ping system where your pings are not visible to certain squadmates.

I have more cases than I can count where my friends on discord say they pinged something and I cannot see it and vice versa
