THat guy's video is misleading.... hes only talking about console isn't he? He should make that clear.
I can't find a single article that produced since launch that suggests that there is a cheat problem in BF 2042. Can't be the reason console players are dropping out can it?
- @lzilchetl Im sure console players just don't want to play against mouse/keyboard using controllers.
Atleast thats why I turned off crossplay on Ps5. I still have Crossplay enabled on PC, but I barely see any console players on there anymore. Just went into a game and took a look. 35-40 console players of 128 players. Do'nt know how that compares with a week or two ago.

I agree it is a shame but is anyone really suprised?
It's a horrible game full of bugs and has nothing at all in common with previous battlefield games.
- Big update coming tomorrow... hopefully they've made enough changes in the right direction to keep the player base from jumping ship...
- @BizzyVaping True Achievements logs platforms Trophy achievements. Through this you can judge how many originally purchase and achieve the initial trophies, then continue to stick with the game and continue unlock trophies.
X-Box shows a rapid decline in progression as only 43% of initial player base has since gone on to reach level 15. 22% have made it to level 25. Considering how easy it is to level up in this game it's a pretty bad sign of a declining player base.
Playstation is understandably healthier with 36% of players making it to level 25.
Personally considering that I'm near level 20 with hours left on my EA Play trial I wouldn't consider the PS stats to be great either.

Mainly down to the fact people don’t know how to turn crossplay off I bet.
- @BFB-Praetorian Pretty sure those sites only takes the stats of people who are signed up on the sites into consideration though.
Even if they can get the needed info from Sony they wouldnt be abe to get the info from anyone with privacy settings enabled on their profile. It's close to 10AM PST and I was able to join a PS4 game (cross-play off) of Conquest AOW straight away. ....same with PS5 (again, cross-play off) in 128 Player Conquest. Pretty seamless actually.
