Can it be done in Portal?

I'd like to make a VIP Royal in Portal.

- 128 Players Free-for-all (Squad Death Match)

- 4 Player Squads

- Re-spawn only allowed Squad Leader

- Squad Leader can not re-spawn.

I know Squad Deathmatch is not a mode we are given, but there is an option for Squads up to 4 Players in the Free-for-all mode, so I am assuming we can use that to make a Squad Deathmatch. However, I don't see the option in the Portal preview to restrict spawning. Am I missing it, is it just missing from the preview, or is that not an option we are going to get at all?

    So I will say this. I have a group of us that have been in software engineering for over 20 years. We're all currently digging through the documentation to see how we can create some unique modes that the BF Franchise has not seen.  I'll try to remain active in the forums etc, but we're planning on building a community and doing some cool stuff with Portal.

    I want to create a mode that tasks you with defending a beach where the waves have a good peak so Kilgore and Lance can catch some waves.
