smoke is the counter
use it
@xMotherloadxSo which class gets free smoke grenades on cooldown every minute like the wall hack class? That in addition to carrying the gadget of our choice like the wall hack class?
If you’re going to implement an actual hack into game, there’s need to be a class that a hard counter to such a game breaking “feature”(HACK).

It's not optimal but you could always run Angel and just self-supply yourself if you live long enough to need it. When I first heard about Rao I kinda figured he would have a passive counter-hack ability that made him immune to pokeballs and wallhacks and only a visual spot would work

maybe we get lucky and the new guy for the battle pass is like a spec ops guy or like and jammer or scrambler
@TTZ_DipsySorry but that’s unacceptable. If DIcE is going to have a class that literally wall hacks on cooldown there needs to be a class that is the hard counter to such a game breaking “feature”.
I’m so sick and tired of flanking or doing my best to out smart opponents only to have wall hacks and 30 spotting grenades spotting me every time I pull a nice flank. It doesn’t look, feel or play anything like Battlefield seeing “location revealed” ever few seconds every single time the fighting gets decent.

@xMotherloadxSmoke is useless, you are still on the map.
Just to add the balls don't seem anywhere near as bad now, good for checking corners mostly.
- @Psychopski The open flags on maps such as Hourglass where you have minimal cover or places to hide as infantry really get ruined by these features. And hiding in buildings is useless as well.
At least make walls stop the sensors, so it only posts if it's in line of sight or thrown inside a building. I'm so tired of trying to hold an objective after finding a good spot to hide. Then someone wallhacks or throws a stupid ball. - cso77774 years agoSeasoned Ace
For me one of the worst parts of BF4 was the constant spotting mostly by shooting with unsuppressed weapons.
BF2042 upped the spotting to new extreme levels of stupidity, audio spot, drone spot, turret spot, grenade spot...
We are back to playing the mini-map and shooting "doritoes" like BF4, which is skill-less and just feels hollow somehow.
But we will probably get a specialist which avoids spotting altogether at some point, again a fail of game-design.

They need to make it harder to spot. Everything spot in this game, it favors only those who does not play the objective. BFV had only one class that could spot with flare ( easely visible and counterable), goint back to BF3,4 spotting system isnt a good idea.
