Oh really? Do you start with cringe questions? Do you really have no valid arguments to discuss? Well rightly there is not much to discuss in this case ... Stupid me ...
Have fun with playing “the new Battlefield” with a penguin skin, although I think clown skin will look better on you. Goodbye.
- 4 years ago@BlackSize23-ITA I have plenty of 'valid' things to discuss based on playing the game, you on the other hand......

This 40+ year man-old child doesn’t per se have a problem with skins. I quite like the option to dress up, makes a change from the fishnet stockings and high heals.
that said, there is something something to be said about the tone/style of the skins that obviously has an effect on the direction the game takes.
BF1,2,3,4,5 have all been sim like, not quite Milsim such as games like Squad, but overall enough of a sim to warrant a seriousish approach to outfits and gun modifications to have been more realistic, than cartoonish.
so I can appreciate that for those that are looking for more sim than dim gameplay, the current skins are just another issue on top of the many other bug bears (serverbrowser, squad sizes, continuous map rotations, voice chat, and scoreboard, if that’s your thing) that deviate the overall style of the game from what we’re each looking for individually.
of course, skins I think could be great if some control is put around which ones can be seen and or applied. For example in portal, they should have skin sets authors can select for their server.
at the end of the day, people do enjoy a bit of a laugh, hell As an airsoft player, I’ve seen full combat outfits, from ww1,ww2 and an inflatable dinasour with an M4 being chased by a team in Hawaii Shirts. Kind cool, for a moment.
what I hope to see on official servers when we get, server browser, squad selection, continuous map rotations, smaller map sizes etc etc (and scoreboard because I’m a scoreboard lovee) are some different game modes. I.e classic/standard/Milsim.
which are essentially differently configured setups. Seriously, it shouldn’t be this hard. The base game is good, even with its bugs and lack of ““legacy”” features, it’s clear they have the ability to creat presets, they just need to pull there marketing * together. They have everything to tell and amazing story that everyone can enjoy.

- 4 years ago@FlibberMeister Yea those ridiculous skins have no place in Battlefield. Never had, and never will. They can force it down our throats but we won't stay silent.
The only game that needed those ridiculous skins was Battlefield Heroes, which is not a main line Battlefield game and it's a game made for KIDS. Battlefield on the other hand has always been more mature, we don't need those dumb skins. We need good skins, that fit the theme of the game. - 4 years ago

In my mind this was all a conscious decision to go in this direction and it will not change. All the ranting on this forum is probably a waste. They don't care. What they do care about is money. We can only hope poor sales will hit them in the pocketbook.
