Recently this was tweeted by community manager:If they don't consider 400k member strong r/battlefield community as part of their feedback loop and they delete/ban all constructive criticism threads in this forums... what the are they doing? Is their job to help those few achievement hunters left playing the game? There's no value in pretending the devs are listening.This improved feedback loop is a total joke. They weren't listening before when everyone said no to specialists, they weren't listening during beta, they weren't listening at launch and they aren't listening now and especially not here, on the official forums for the game. I've been playing Dying Light 2 and engaged in their discord, mentioned a few bugs and actually had a dev responding to me to see the bug and report it. That's how you gain respect from your community, by caring about your product and listening to what the fanbase has to say.These guys are the equivalent of woke people: Just do what they want, lose everyone in the process and then blame it on everyone except themselves. This game hasn't stopped slapping people in the face left and right on near daily basis. If they were at least vocal on Reddit and engaged instead of being silent, they might have had a much different and less angry community.You reap what you sow.

The reality is that Twitter is faster and reaches more people for short updates like that. Since the Tweet was done at 10pm at night (outside of working hours), Twitter was just the way to go for a quick update. With that said, I can confirm that the Feedback Loop itself will be posted on these forums. And we're very much looking forward to seeing you discuss the talking points we'll outline for you.

@yodddd I thought the function of a CM was to cushion the regular and hard feedback and convey the message in a constructive way to the devs?

@Psubond Agreed, but if the CM aren't looking on the forums for feedback and they refuse to go on reddit/twitter because of the "toxicity," then how do they get feedback from the players? Are they even looking at any feedback at all?

The Soviet Union had not taken any feedback before the collapse - just saying. So EA would take into consideration any signals from even Reddit?

i will get flamed for this but the world would be a better place if EVERYONE pretended twitter and reddit don't exist. both are (and there are a lot of other "platforms" like this too) dumpster fires of group think and toxicity. if you don't have the right opinion about everything you post about the mob attacks you. if i were a dev i wouldn't even look at reddit or twitter (not because of this game just because of how those sites are run and moderated and how the users behave in general)

@Psubond Only if the USA could have had the same customer protection laws as in Australia, we wouldn`t be sitting here debating on the future of the franchise. The world would be a better place then. This is what happens when a big tech governs the country.

Agreed. Big tech is COMPLETELY out of control in the US and there are many reasons for that (too numerous to list but the top two reasons are money and politics) but this isnt the right setting to get into a big discussion about the nuts and bolts of what that means.

@Psubond well for each individual customer it means at some point s c r e w e d. There must be some red zone and a line that cannot be breached.

After what is going on on Reddit I kind of understand the reluctance of the CMs to avoid that part of the 'feedback loop'. My question is: WHERE do they interact with the community? Did someone count the number of responses they give per hour. Or per day? Are they doing the CM thing in their spare time if they feel like it. Once a week maybe? Or is this supposed to be a full time job? If so, I would expect them to be in the BF forums (where else?) and INTERACT with the community.

They don't have to agree with all the criticism, but they would have to respond and provide feedback in both directions. Can someone please point me to where this interaction is taking place, because it definitely does not happen here.
