Getting frustrated trying to win gunfights (dying too much)

Hey gang...so I've been playing Battlefield since BF4 (got BF3 later) and am sort of enjoying BF2042 so far...some of the game I like and some I don't, with bugs and some really mind-boggling design ...

     Performance issues and gun balance aside this game seems to play differently. I find myself using more hipfire at close-medium range. Also after running and coming to a stop seems a little off center to me, like it requires more adjustment compared to previous BF games. I went back to play BF4 and had difficulty hitting people. I found myself about 1-2 cm off target. To test this I went back to 2042 and again had to compensate for the difference. This game just feels a little off. =(
