KEYBINDINGS! Game is unplayable on PC!

Having the same issue here. Mine is binding to button 6. It is also giving informing me that if I want to unbind the keybind, I need to hold down the menu button from an Xbox controller. I don't have a controller connected to my PC. I play my FPS games with a mouse.

My buddy is having same issue. His PROFSAVE_profile looks like it's for a controller and when he deletes it and tries to use mine it overrides it and reverts back to thinking he's using a joystick.

 He is using a mouse/keyboard only and when he tries to bind anything it goes to mouse 5 on everything. He is currently trying to reinstall the game

A few of my thumb buttons couldn't be configured using a Steel Series Sensei Raw. What I've traditionally done as a workaround is configured alternate keys in the desktop app (PGUP/PGDOWN, for example), and then I use those keyboard bindings in-game to activate missing buttons on the mouse.

Luckily I use G-Hub to sort out the majority of my key binds that I move over to the mouse. But it's driving me insane being unable to scroll up for primary and scroll down for secondary. I keep getting killed because I'm not use to have scroll through gadgets. I know I can use 1 but I'm so use to my setup. This week is gonna be frustrating as I'm guessing we have no chance of a fix until the day one patch.

Side note: When you have a early release of a week on a triple A game, where so many people have access, I honestly believe the day one patch should drop at the same time.

I had that issue at first but solved it by clearing both and then resetting wheel up/down. 

The solution I found was to uninstall, delete all folders pertaining to BF 2042 and then reinstall. I was then able to redo my key bindings with no issues. Deleting all the folders pertaining to BF 2042 is a major part of this "fix"

@tactical2976My issue's are certain bindings are HARD CODED and are not listed in the settings screen. For example, if I remap my vehicle "turn right" and "turn left" keys to the arrow keys, when I push either in game it also "Free Looks" left/right. I CANNOT drive that way, I keep crashing in things. And there's NOWHERE to unbind free look for vehicles. Also, the recon drone cannot "Descend" on keyboard because there's no listing for it. "Ascend" works to whatever you bind as jump (Mouse 2 for me), but nothing links from "descend" to anything (should be crouch or something).

C'mon DICE. This is elementary shiz.

As of 06/09/2022, the keybinds are broken again. They bind in the game options but in game they remain as the default keybinds. 

I tried removing PROFSAVE_profile for the game to create a fresh one, but it still doesn't fix.

Please fix.
