Does the game have native support on PS5 for keyboard and mouse ?

Crossplay is available so please allow native mouse and keyboard support too. Put us in different lobby with PC players. Playing FPS games with a controller is really hard for many people. having to fight against my controls really makes it hard to enjoy the game. Call of duty has it and nobody had problems. Please consider.
I did a little bit of merging - For anyone wondering about new feedback/ideas, the team does comb these threads and is aware of new posts. As previously stated, the team is looking into options (no guarantees) but there will be no official support at launch. I personally like the idea of limiting console M&K to certain lobbies

Yes agreed that it could be a future supported 'lobby' kept apart from the regular gamers.
Just as some have suggested: Let all the cheaters battle it out in a closed 'server lobby' just for them please, if you will...
The whole point for many of us buying a console and leaving the PC gamers environment happily behind in the first place was exactly to get rid of that infested cheater environment. The console world's strongest point for multiplayer games is exactly that to ensure a level playing field, where the integrity of the platform and the games are assured. EA should not upset their biggest player population please by venturing in to compromise on this!
I saw 1 person say a good idea.
If you have crossplay disabled, limit to Controller and if crossplay enabled allow you to chose your preferred play style whether it be M&K or Controller.
It would make sense then that way it keeps it some what even and matched up, with them enabling crossplay from day 1 but no M&K for consoles may be a mistake to make.

Many complain, because of the pairing with those who play on PC and Controller, simply the video game console, it is a team, regardless of which peripheral you use! If I played with a video console with M&K and removed the pairing, the system I should recognize my video console as if it were a PC for the simple fact of playing with M&K and voila !, Crossplay already exists and you can deactivate it or not! Whoever wants to play on a PC and with a Controller, the same thing would happen, when deactivating Crossplay, as it should recognize it as if it were playing on a console, just by having the controller connected, and in this way you only play with controller players! It's so easy to see it like this! Today, video consoles and games must allow the versatility of peripherals that the user wants to play! It is in the game where you can take control of whether or not to play with Controller or with M&K and without or with Crossplay. And everyone is happy!
In my case, I have my XBOX Series X, and I would like to play BF2042 with M&K, to avoid buying a video card, processors etc. on my current PC, for the simple fact of saving me some money, that I can use it better in the game! Nowadays it is more difficult to get a PC peripheral than a current video console! Knowing that the game is optimized on my XBOX!

You can force cross-play in the whole game by default if you rethink the way lobbies are created, like this:
- Cross-play controller lobbies
- Cross-play M&K lobbies
- Cross-play M&K and controller lobbies
The concept of the platform is just old and crampy, create lobbies by input method.
This is Battlefield 2042, take some modern approach to the whole input scenario.
Waiting to buy the game until M&K are announced to be added to the game, not buying on some ’maybe’ it will be added.- @Qienja this type i think in cod or if there are no people, it selects 50% to 50%

Console M&K players are just like PC M&K players, let them play together.
