Let's talk about Crossplay, again...

I've been playing Redacted almost exclusively since it was released, and since it's infantry only, the horrible networking between consoles and PC really starts to show its self. Console players will just stand still or walk slowly out of cover and take shots, fire back after you've unloaded at least 5-6 shots, then they snap to you, and boom you're dead INSTANTLY. It's so consistent that I am completely convinced that this is a feature built into the game. PC players are handicapped by being placed behind a couple of ticks on the server. There's no way that it's because the majority of them are playing on Wifi or have figured out a way to manipulate the network. It's far too consistent to be anything else but intentional game design.

We also need to talk about the "Snap to Target" and reduced recoil for controller players as well. In BF2042 apparently it's been buffed to the point where the snap to target is four times the distance compared to the previous titles including BF1 and BF5. Pair that with reduced recoil and that's a HUGE part of aiming. It also doesn't stop there. They also get slowdown, and keep in mind that's after they have snapped to their target, then rotational assist, and to top it all off, reduced recoil. They really don't have to do much when it comes to aiming.

I think we need to ask Dice to be transparent on this. What is going on with the network? I personally want answers, and I think as a community we should be demanding transparency on this topic concerning at least the networking. It's really demoralizing after putting years of effort into developing aiming skills, researching equipment, doing trial and error with different combinations of mice, pads, mouse feet, and etc. just to be out done because we're being handicapped in vain of trying to make things "fair". How is that fair to PC players exactly?

I will keep saying this, and I think as PC players we should become comfortable saying this: If you want to be a top player in any particular game, in any lobby, you need to be using a mouse on PC in order to achieve that. That shouldn't even be a controversial statement. Imagine if iRacing started to cater more to controller players and started giving them all sorts of assist so they could viably compete against people with full sim rigs that are equipped with High quality pedals and Wheels. That would be absurd, yet we accept it in shooters? These companies are doing it to reach a wider audience, but I'm sorry, I don't care.

I don't want to be constantly stressed out trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Someone standing still just eating my bullets and then just to hit me back in one update doesn't feel fair at all.
