I play BFBC2 & BF3, both have MP problems with OP and base-**** by vehicles not giving up, and hackers spoil. being a modern shooter I worry BF2042 could end up the same, what do you think? I think limit vehicle fuel and ammo, so it's fair all-round, and the rest is good. .

Ammo was allready limited in BFV and that just made tanks camp at ammo depot.

@Noodlesocks I absolutely hated the limited ammo system in BFV.In the end it's one of the main reasons that game was bad compared to the previous games in the series.For Vehicle Gameplay Battlefield 3 and 4 are what I would consider the best in the series. So I am glad they are going back to what made those games great 🙂

I prefer limited ammo over the weird 5 shot system from BF3/4. Made for some pretty boring vehicle battles. Sadly that is the system that Battlefield 2042 is going to be using.No to fuel though.

@ProfessorBoreas Not only no but NO! We all saw how attrition worked in BF5 and I'm not a fan of how it changed the vehicle game play. In fact I'd love it if 2042 was like BC2 and BF3 if the choppers were balanced a bit better.

It is easy to look at Battlefield 5 and say "This game was bad so this feature is also bad," when the real problem was the result of a number of compounding mistakes in design.Before Frosbite, Battlefield games always had limited ammo and it worked perfectly fine because the features surrounding the ammo system was designed from the ground up to support it. Everything was designed to work in conjunction with each other, not in contradiction like a lot of Battlefield 5 was.I'm not particularly fussed one way or another, it's not a deal breaking/making feature for me but I certainly prefer limited ammo over the 6 pump chump system.

oh okay, I didn't know, BFV is a good game and I haven't seen much/any base_**** too, nice maps 'n' stuff.
(meanwhile I play BF1 too but there's no switch team option in BFV while auto-balancing has been really poor making unfair & wasted games)

@ProfessorBoreas Bases are out of bounds in BFV for the most part (planes and tanks can still get you if you're not careful) so it's a bit harder to get base stomped. First flag stomps though...

I think it worked very well for planes that had to return to spawn in order to rearm.

@ProfessorBoreas Nah, give us 30 shells and 30 sec restock timer, I personally liked when their was infinite ammo

The main reason I want to see Ammo added to vehicles is because they can just spam there shells at any building and destroy any chance of a player having cover the rest of the game. And they don't have to even think about if it is wasting ammo.. I am sure it will still be balanced similar to BF4 where the ammo slow reloads back but I don't want to see Tanks just spamming shells at every building because they don't have to worry about ammo.
