@ReconAvenger I mean I'm happy that you're enjoying it, but why pay full price for a new game only to play the older games that came with it? Seems pretty scummy as a business practice. Then again most video game companies are just focused on squeezing the most money for the least amount of effort and * over the very people who made the franchise popular in the first place.

@ZappBranniginEh, people often pay for remastered/updated/remake versions of old games. Look at Demon Souls or Resident Evil 2. If I had it my way DICE would've just made "Battlefield Portal" that housed a bunch of fan favorite maps from past games, rather than what we got as a whole in 2042.
Maybe throw in BC1 and BC2 campaigns and have this hypothetical game be a prelude to BC3.
EDIT: Additionally...I wouldn't say Portal is playing "older games" I'd say it's playing legacy maps/weapons on a brand new engine. Kinda like how BF3 had Back to Karkand or BF4 had Second Assault.
- 4 years ago@ReconAvenger Yeah I honestly would have prefered that to. I have played a ton AOW and have been enjoying it, but I would have prefered if they would have remade a ton of the old maps in portal instead of AOW.
Instead we just ended up with 2 sepperate modes that just feel half assed. The maps on AOW were clearly build with Hazard zone in mind, and the weapons are terrible. There like 4 weapons worth using in AOW
Portal is great, at least what is there, but the problem is that there's damn near no content in Portal atm- RayD_O14 years agoHero
@BizzyVaping Yes Portal has definitely got potential but I agree with you they need to beef up the content.
