New locked classes ruined the game

That's the thing though, you didn't need Classes to restrict gadget items. Lis couldn't equip the Stinger. They could have done the same thing for other Specialist, like Sundance and C5. Which still baffles me that Dice refuses to do that. Probably because she was in the Trailer and people just love making clips of dropping on people with C5 or something.

The game hasn't fundamentally changed at all. Still feels basically the same. There were more stealth changes that are having a bigger impact on the game for myself.

All they needed to do was to further balance some of the vehicles, fix bugs (which EVERY SINGLE ONE I've reported is still in the game!), and limit some of the gadgets.

Teamwork comes from robust Ping systems like in Apex, voip, being able to say "hey, I'm in the echo squad, join if you want to tank with me" and then grouping into that squad. The lack of teamwork had literally nothing to do with the absence of Classes. It's the round about way of trying to make people rely on each other. I can ping that I need ammo next to five people with icon flashes above their heads not in an immediate fight, and they still won't drop it. Or there's a bunch of Falck's standing around not healing at all.

If the person who is changing my car breaks and do it exactly the same as a specialised dealer, of course

after all, the task gets done, their specialist skills do not mean anything if both of them can do the same job.

to add to your post
the developer could remove weapons that encourage solo play - for example, sniper weapons

and increasing abilities for team work, for exmaple BF artillery callins, ememy artillery destruction etc

and yes, the game feels unfamiliar now that they changed it, it changed the flow of direction for the last year

yes, those who team work in squads should get more XP than those in squads and players should have the
ability to decide not to play as a team member - because some days are just crap and you want to be alone

Please do not get me started on how crap the voip system is in game....
or how i cannot select my own squad/create my own squad
or how i do not have a server browser.

@HeroCllassThat would not objectively be "basically the same" with your comparison. The Class system hasn't fundamentally changed ANY of the issues I've had with the game. I doubt it's had any real change for most people if they're being honest with themselves either. I'm still seeing the exact same amount of teamwork, bad team balancing, and no one spotting or dropping ammo and health.

I wanted bug improvements, for them to leave the movement alone, not increase the sway on the mid range sights (because you CAN'T steady them, but snipers sights you can), further balance air vehicle, gives us better tools for squads.

If that is the case sir - and EA really wants to bring back players - then stop developing games that:

- mimic "call of duty" ----- Battlefield died along time ago and was replaced with "Call of Battlefield" - veteran gamers know what i am talking about with this....

- have only 4 people to a squad - it should have 6 people to a squad

- having small maps like COD - and start having large battlefield 2 style maps

- does NOT have a server browser

- does NOT have private servers

- does NOT cost an arm an a leg to rent a month - ffs - over $64 a month to rent a server - in one year that is nearly $768! - a private server should cost no more than $20 a month.

- does NOT start unless the game has 16 players before the game kicks off - it should have 2 people to kick start a server - what idiot thought of that

- are released broken

- does NOT have commander

- does NOT have commander assets and destruction ability

- does NOT have woke agenda hidden

- does NOT disrespect historical wars

- does NOT have a join button on friends lists via origin app

- does NOT have an invite button on friends list

- does NOT have the ability create your own squads

- does NOT have the ability to manage friends in that squad

- does NOT have limit how many clan friends go on one server and make it difficult..

there are other things 

As a veteran of gaming for nearly 25 years, and played since BF1942 (2002) - i have never seen a game franchise so destroyed as Battlefield 

Trust me "fixing" classes is not the way to make people come back....

• Falk with infinite healing and since ammo from dead enemies was more then enough to keep supplied, but you could always use an ammo box and had 3-4 rockets to get rid of most tank threats
• Recons were always self sufficent because the average recon will die before he chews trough all 3 ammo types
• Angle as you stated
• McKay with med-pen same goes for Sundance with her infinite cluster and AT grenades
• Liz and her infinite TV Missle

Ammo is in such high supply that i don't think i have ever ran dry in this game ever, i know i came close to chewing trough 2 ammo types on my AK once but i still had a 3rd ammo type with about 250 bullets...

@HeroCllassteam work??? u watch too much game video on youtube etc. the game isn't running like that. ppl don't care u unless it is ur friend or private squad. ppl play the game for theirown interest and fun, not for anyone, even the their team. that why BF is a sucessful FPS game, as ppl can do anything they want before class system return. it is a bad return.

@GVlXxfi like freedom of loadouts and hate the class system return but let's be honest. this game wasn't a success.

my issue was destroying playstyles over a year after launch.   if you're going to not have classes at launch don't half measure it 14+ months in.  save it for the next game

Heck even some of my “friends” on voice chat won’t change what they do to help the team. Teamwork has always been in short supply in Battlefield (I have played since 2042).

I liked the freedom of being able to adjust my style to what the situation required via Angel, this limited class system is simply frustrating and not fun. For instance, if a helicopter was dominating, I could switch to AA and at least harass it (solo you could only kill a helicopter if the pilot got careless) - now that is not possible as ammo is scarce since the patch.
