Minimum is the same as BF5 . But  RECOMMENDED is tooooo high...Also, the difference between Minimum and Recommend is high.. that's why I am a little bit confused ...

  • @SweetRoundPotatoI feel quite confident the minimum and recommended requirements are for 1080p gameplay. You could attempt 1440p, but at an appreciable hit to performance, naturally.

The large difference between the specs is due to the increased disparity between levels of quality in computer games and the associated hardware options.  The average framerates would correspondingly increase at various points between those two specs.

I would expect the minimum requirements to be playable, but not beautiful, while the recommended requirements would provide a smooth, beautiful gaming experience at 1080p, maybe even 1440p.

  • At some point we just have to benchmark the beta to be able to provide more information.

  • @SweetRoundPotato  Thought the specs where a little low end my self a XX60 card is low end. (I don't count the XX50 cards as they more for Esports imo)  Also these specs are kinda made up just play the demo and mess around with settings I'm sure it will run fine.

Why made up? Cause they pitting a 4 core intel vs a 6 core AMD for min :P If core matter over Hz they doing it wrong hehe. Its just a guess from any dev due to every PC being different. the AMD GPU is faster than the XX60 also so proof if you needed it 🙂

@Carbonic Did the thread get deleted, can't seem to find it about the file size on PS5/Series X?

  • I find it discouraging that EA 'elegantly' omitted to specify the monitor requirements, both minimum and recommended...

So they want to hold back until they see the beta results before they will want to commit to aka 120FPS at 4k because they are worried their servers and infrastructure will not be up to it?

And we will have to do with aka 60FPS at std HD resolution...  🥺

  • @CyberDyme I am actually in the market for a new monitor for this game. Waiting for beta to end before I decide.
  • I guess recommended is for 4k and ray tracing stuff. Because 1) not so many ppl got such specs these days (due to covid stuff and overall) 2) difference is quite high yea.
I hope there would be an old option to downscale res cuz my 3440x1440 wont take 60fps+ with such specs lol

@aleker0Yea I am pretty sure the recommended specs are for Maximum Graphics and Resolution.

Explains perfectly why it needs those powerful components 🙂

@aleker0 I am sorry, but a RTX 3060 is not pushing 4K frames.

It will handle some 1440p content and will destroy anything 1080p… hence me saying the minimum and recommended specs are likely targeting 1080p.
