Like all of you i have been getting performance issues i am running medium settings and was doing ok. Today i get on nothing changed but next thing you know 11%gpu usage with 2-10fps.

Latest nivdeia drivers and after this all my games have low gpu usage now thanks 2042 for this virus?
Errr. This may sound dumb but are you mining? I once got this FPS on my 3080 when I forgot to turn off my gminer.

Nope just had 2042 ea app steam bluetooth and av/vpn on
But this game was like you need more power time for slideshow then the others followed
I ran DDU and with september drivers its back well not amazing but no slideshows.
Just had to share i was stunned that medium setting ray trac off dlss on i was getting 5 fps.
@tom_lookenYou have massive packet loss/a connection issue as indicated by the icon on the left.
Pretty sure a GPU driver can't possibly cause that to happen

If my overlay recorded it was at single digits fps lag would not cause that?
Also its working now nothing changed but drivers
I am just walking away this game is a dam mystery.
@tom_lookenIm not having problems in Battlefield, but I have tried getting 0-5 fps readings in games a ton of times when connections went down the toilet. Modern Warfare season 6 was completely unplayable for me because of connection issues, and the fps counter would go to damn near 0 for anything from a few seconds to a few minuts every time it happened.
It was eventually fixed server side in Modern Warfare. Not sure what the problem was though, but it looked exactly like your video back then
@tom_lookenSorry I mistook the icons for packet loss icons. but those are actually "low fps" warning icons. It is a GPU or driver issue then
I have a AMD 5800X and a 3090 gfx card and i'm playing at max settings with DLSS on and RT off. @ 1440p 240hz i get around 170fps so something is wrong with your system.
I'm running the latest nVidia driver 496.76 but there is a hot fix driver out too 496.84 but that's only for NiS or nVidia Image Scaling fix.
