DICE are between a rock and a hard place.
The 'community' can be defined as people who play Battlefield, beyond that, it is so fractured, it is impossible for DICE to satisfy everyone. These forums are a prime example of that.

@Trokey66 I agree with you as far as claiming that DICE (or any business) for that matter can't satisfy everyone. It's impossible. But I wonder if EA or DICE even went into this trying to satisfy the vast majority. These Apex/COD type characters are for pure monetization and they squeezed them into Battlefield under the guise of staying within classes hoping that most won't notice or won't care. But many did notice. I'm wondering if DICE wanted to go this route or if they were handcuffed by EA and forced to come up with characters that would make them money. I'm not privy to such information but it makes me wonder and wouldn't surprise me. My point is that in the end it seems like they really don't care who they satisfy from a game/franchise perspective as long as they make money. And if that means taking other games ideas and characters then so be it.
