I do not mind the entire idea to give value to the AP bullets by making them do damage through the shield.
But there was no need for a double whammy of also making it so much slower to draw the shield.
It is already possible to shoot dozer while from his PoV you are still in his safe zone thanks to all the network related delays.
Are you trying to balance Dozer around the scenario that enough people play dozer together to make a Testudo formation?

Aggressive Dozer playstyle is reduced to absolute zero.
Drawing out shield is so slow you actually need to plan ahead and calculate if you're even going to make it and if its even worth it. Started going around behind corners just to be able to safely whip it out before pressing on with the attack.
80% slower draw time? That has to be some sick joke. It feels more like upwards of 200%, and I do know what I'm talking about considering I have over 33k shield kills.
The shield draw time nerf is just ridiculous and WAY over the top.
Congratulations on making Dozer utter trash tier, god knows you've been doing it with quite a handful of patches prior to this over the years.
As i've said before and i cannot say it enough. Get rid of the Potatos coding and making decisions in this game.

This was the only battlefield where the average player had a fighting chance against long-distance snipers, thanks to Dozer. But with the recent changes, snipers running armor-piercing rounds can now shoot through the shield with only a 45% damage reduction. Congratulations to DICE for catering to the only class that does not play the objective.
The developers were not satisfied with this.
80% reduction in shield draw speed has severely impacted Dozer’s offensive capabilities, crippling already niche and difficult (in comparison) to perform tactics. Dozer wasn't the meta before, but now there is completely no incentive to play as him anymore. Frankly, I cannot understand why DICE chooses to nerf an operator that never posed a real threat to any skilled player. I think the developers shouldn't listen to the vocal minority that complained about an operator that has been nerfed in the past and that is easy to counter.
I just won't play the game's infantry anymore due to this "assassination" of a playstyle.
