- Adamonic2 years agoLegend@SithMetal71 I won't pre-order for sure, and I probably won't even buy it if it doesn't have a Server Browser and 60Hz servers. Those are core to the BF experience and Community.
It will be 2024 or 2025 by the time the next one is released, so they have a few years to consider the "legacy" features. If i hear specialists again, i won't even consider buying...

I don't think I will pre-order the next-game. The last 2 titles just wen't downhill in a way that is unbelievable.
But I fear Dice/EA will release a fantastic (fake) trailer, that will make my brain stop working, and then I pre-order the next game once again...

NO heroes/specialists, MUST HAVE server browsers, persistent servers and all the other "legacy" features as well as a lot more content than 2042 or....
There is zero reason to pre-order.
A month of EA play is $5.
It gets you extra early access (10hr limit) and 10% off the purchase.
Less risk, more perks for less money. No brainer
- Lancelot_du_Lac2 years agoSeasoned Ace@SithMetal71 Have just watched the Jackfrags video on MW3 launch. While I don't play MW (not my play style), I was impressed that they will launch MW3 with all MW2 maps (remastered) and weapons.
Recognising that BF and MW probably appeal to slightly different target markets, they are nevertheless a good benchmark for how a successful studio maintains a franchise. Each iteration is an expansion and improvement on the last. They don't get too far ahead of their consumer.
EA should take note! - 80uwjx4m1chc2 years agoNew Ace
@Lancelot_du_Lac "Each iteration is an expansion and improvement on the last" What happened with 2042 then? Because it certainly was NOT an improvement on previous titles in so many ways.
I will N O T be pre-ordering anything from these clowns again until I see REAL game play and reviews from good and recognised players either.
I will not be fooled again with BS cinematic game trailers that reflect nothing whatsoever like what the real game play is and graphics too.
If they are going to keep making these games, then they themselves need to seriousley up their game, punn intended.
Oh, and they better include basics such as server browsers etc, and I beleive a majority of the players missed the campaign mode too. And they had better pop out a damn site more maps than the pathetic amount we have now. After two years it's ridiculous.

100% this, sums up my feelings entirely. - Mackstan712 years agoSeasoned Ace@SithMetal71
No/no.
They proved themself not to be trusted by providing us with fals information and selling us a empty/broken shell. And then play the victim..nah..not on my watch.
