You are correct but don't state false information that can be used to discredit you. Those 4-5 thousand are steam players. There must be at least 10 times that in Origin.
But still, the playerbase is without a doubt decreasing and we are not able to find matches, sometimes even during the typical busy times.
WHERE IS THE ROADMAP?There is absolutely not 10x that count on Origin. Steam has a larger player base with more exposure on its store to more people. I used to purchase battlefields on Origin but moved to steam since it's available there now and because Steam is a better platform. It just has a better game library too. There's no reason to buy on Origin over Steam if you have the option. A large amount of other Origin folks moved their purchases to steam too.
Without data from Origin threads like this are completely pointless. I'm betting there is definitely way more 2042 purchases on Origin than Steam but without all the data absolutely no one can say for sure how many people are playing 2042. I'm also betting Origin won't start making player counts available any time soo either, for obvious reasons lol
- @Exxtract Let's face it. Battlefield 2042 is FUBAR.
- The BF2042 playerbase is decreasing, but the Steam stats are mostly for choosing a prime time for playing the game. They really don't provide enough information for much else.

On steam or other systems?
Yes they do. If 90% from a peak of 100k people are gone on this plattform, you can assume, that this happened on every plattform. Maybe it is not 90% over there, but still 70% or 80%. The numbers are very bad, no need to decline that...

That's bad, very bad. It's up to the devs to bring them back again....time is of the essence here.

But how. Some dont like the large open maps or the specialists and others dont like matchmaking.
There are so many different reasons why people do not play.
The problem seems to be more than bugs. One more map or a new specialist will probably not make the big difference. I don't have the solution but I hope Dice do. - Mackstan714 years agoSeasoned Ace
@SirBobdkI also hope Dice come with a solution, one that benefits most ( hopefully all) of us. I know its hard to please us all, but if they start to adress the big issues people have it might bring a turnaround to this decreas. Put out a roadmap, so we know which direction we going. now it feels to me like driving in a forrest at night with no lights, waiting to hit a tree. And i think a roadmap will lower the so called assumptions.
