I just wanted to be the first to warn the devs on the extreme back lash your probably going to get and that redux is going to receive very negative feedback I'm sure. No one really cared for the mid season events, I mean they might play them because it was an exclusive different game mode for 2 weeks out of the season that changed it up a bit (if people liked it). Re Running all these mid season events just to give away previously expensive store items that not many people bought for 6 weeks is a very bad idea. All people have been asking for is new content. All we get is 1 NEW map every 12-14 weeks (reworks ARE NOT NEW MAPS). Now it's going to be extended another 6 (maybe 8 weeks if I had to guess), just to get that 1 NEW map and maybe a fist full of weapons. This will help further kill the game down the road it goes in the last half of the season even further. We've been asking for more content at a better rate. This is the answer? Quite the opposite I believe. I'm done for the season as of last week and guess I won't be playing for a further 6 weeks. As someone who has tier 1 every season pass, and has been a dedicated player since launch, that's my 2 cents.P.S. Not 1 positive comment on Reddit concerning "Redux", just a very disappointed community (what's left of it)

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.You can't tell me they are not doing this deliberately. BF2042 is not making any money, so the fewer players the better. They have made the game near unplayable as infantry for anything beyond 50m and now we get old stuff brought back.

Redux is not that bad from the PoV of those who missed parts of these mid events

@GrizzGolf If only DICE hadn't spent the past month hyping up the S6 announcement that ended up being, "JK, S6 delayed, here's two seconds of the new map and also we're bringing back old events!"Which is nice but doesn't match up with the buildup to this announcement in the slightest. DICE once again setting themselves up for failure and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory because they seem incapable of taking the pulse of the community.

@Anobix My love letter is adios amigos, I am no longer supporting this clown show. I have been here since launch in hopes that things would actually improve. They literally put lipstick on a pig for the last 20+ months and never actually made the core of the game any better. I would be embarrassed to put my name anywhere near this title.

Yeah I think the delay and the Redux is going to get the people raging again.
Honestly I have no idea who's left working on the game so maybe they needed more time if its down to like 5 people. Not mad about it. Just happy we are getting a new map and fingers crossed I hope new weapons and more portal weapons to AOW

If there is only 1 map in S6, this is what we get for the 6 weeks after S5, and the next game is at least 16 months away, they may have killed the franchise for good.

Same except to Tier 1 both Jets, Jets and the transport vehicles are literally the only reason why I still play 2042.
I just wish the transport vehicles didn't have so much firepower, then they wouldn't have received so much hate. Furthermore, it seems like when ever something gets praised, it gets removed, such as the Flak cannons on the light vehicles. It just tells me there's no one there to balance it, so it's easier to just remove it. There's so many reasons why Flak cannons improve the game but no... let's just remove it and keep the unfixed Flak on the Crawler. Like, which is it, was the Flak removed to be fixed or was it removed because it was OP?
The recent changes involving spread make no sense. I think messing around with spread is their "shortcut" to weapon balancing, i.e they couldn't figure out how to properly balance the weapons at different ranges so they just brought back the ridiculous spread to make using all the weapons a headache.

@Adamonic Ya that's what I mean why are now having to wait 18 weeks for a new map. This will be the lowest this game has went since pre season. BET. It's disgusting to have to wait 12-14 and up to 18 weeks to get a new map. We all know it'll be mediocre at best too, it's not going to be some amazing map like seige of Shanghai, Rotterdam, or one of beautifully crafted bf1 maps. Take that sloppy map we call flashpoint for example. Waited 14 weeks for a desert with an oil refinery and an empty tunnel, Oh and guess what that's now the no pats home, the worst seasonal map in the game. Not the cool ship on stranded or the cliff side resort on exposure. I'm really just over 2042, it truly disgusted me the way the franchise has become and the amount of time it takes to get basic stuff in 2042 like missing features, more weapons, and maps. They make sure they add them cosmetics to the store every week tho. Maybe the bots will buy them cause I doubt anyone still playing will.

If you asked a 3rd Grader what to do, they would have better ideas than what has transpired over the life cycle of this game. It truly is hard to believe. They have strung us alone since launch with false promises and misleading announcements.
