[TV missiles]Just squat at home and destroy 50% of the health of any vehicle.

This is our excellent balance of Battlefield 2042

You don’t need to do anything. You just need to launch TV missiles at home to destroy 50% of the tank’s health. (27%X2)

At the same time, ground vehicles can't do anything to you. How cool is that?🙌

At the same time, some people were complaining about why the tank stayed at home and refused to come out.🙌


I don’t know what DICE thinks?
With a small number of tanks, there is no thermal imaging, but individual soldiers have various methods to counter ground vehicles.🙌


My advice:

TV missiles need to be balanced. One person using a TV missile may not cause damage to the tank, but what about 2 people and 3 people? It can cause devastating blows to any ground vehicle. MAV is the best example. It is indestructible when facing tanks, but TV missiles can cause 27% damage to MAV.

Tanks/MAV, etc., will receive damage reduction (within a certain period of time) when receiving multiple TV missiles. For example, the first TV missile will cause 100% damage, the second TV missile will cause 60% damage, and the third TV missile will cause 30% damage (within 9~16 seconds)(Too short will have no effect).

At the same time, tanks, EBLC-Ram, all need thermal imaging! ! !
The damage of EBLC-Ram’s 105MM cannon is too low and needs to be enhanced! ! !
EBLC-Ram should remove the rockets and make it a dedicated anti-infantry vehicle! !

    Hey hey, Feints are a valid battle strategy irl too

    To make the enemy uncertain about when the attack will come or to mislead them about how many arrows/bulelts/rockets etc you have available is all part of war.

    I bet the Art of War has something about that too.

    @UP_Hawxxeye I think that would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that air vehicles are also alerted when a missile is incoming. Only a n00b pilot will pop flares as soon as they hear lock on, and they aren't the real threat - it's the experienced, skilled pilots who wait for the missile incoming warning before popping flares, so not really a valid tactic for them.

    As an experienced pilot I can say that it adds the amount of things one has to keep track of. It gets exponentially scarier if it is not just a single source of lock-ons.
    If it happens a lot the pilot might get impatient and start taking bigger risks.

    All that said, to quote one of the better pilot streamers out there "Nightbird has only been OP since the beta"

  • Imagine if they were to nerf the range from 475 to 200 but would that be too good to be true? 

  • Have you seen how many people teamplay?  Some dont give a crap even whenthey are engineers

  • I disagree althought mines are op lis missiles are a lot more op with their 475 range meter imagine 4 people using thoose missiles they are more overpowered than even possibly c5

  • Just because i want to play tank doesnt mean everyone should feel obligated to do so too

    Suggestion: remove the slow speed of TV missiles and leave only the ability to fire with afterburner. Then the player will have to choose a more direct trajectory so that the tank is in sight. Most players who shoot from the blind spot will be forced to relearn a different style of play with TV missiles. It will definitely become easier for ground and air vehicles to behave more aggressively on the battlefield.

  • How easy do you think it is for an MAV to survive against enemies? Escpesially on 64 v 64 where half of the 64 of the enemy team uses something that is anti tank and its not limited to classes either - a good suggestion in my eyes is to remove anti tank equipment from all classes except engineer -
