So, during the beta and during the launch, I was able to "mute" the characters in game (specialists and the AI) using the in game audio settings. On the most recent patch I am not able to turn this terrible cussing off. This makes the game unplayable because I have children and I do not want them hearing GD and F-bombs over and over and over..... Another way to fix this would be to allow us to change the in game audio language, just like ALL previous battlefields have had. I used to play BF 1 and 5 in spanish and not know they were cussing, but that does not seem to be available either.Is there an alternative other than to just mute the game completely? I can't play the game with constant cussing now.HELP!

@davidgmccoy1Don't want to go all Karen on you but isn't this game rated M for mature and therefore should you be playing it in front of children?Just like you wouldn't allow your children to watch M rated movies and television programmes.

@davidgmccoy1 The cussing is the only realistic part of 2042 as far as I can tell. But until Dice gives a swearword mute button, you will have to mute the entire game. And given the tremendous amount of stuff they need to fix, I doubt that muting cussing is high on their list.

Headphones......dont go cheap though. Get a good set and you will not have to have your kids hear the game.

Unable to mute the specialist/AI audio? Now not child friendly..... :-(

I understand but not really a fix if I don't want to hear the cussing either. I just want to turn the voices off completely or change the audio language.

Cussing should be the least of your worries coming from an M-rated title. The biggest thing is you are committing fake acts of killing people over and over. In regards to not having your kids hear cursing coming from a video game, it's not going to matter one bit when they get older. Kids are going to cuss whether you like it or not.
