Update 3.2 Feedback - Classes

For me nothing has changed, I still play the same class. I personally feel that the time spent on this change could have been better spent on fixing persistent bugs like Hit Registration issues, killed behind cover and adding a server browser.

Doesn't matter.  You don't listen to what we have to say on your official forums!

Make AmmoBox, TracerDart and M5Recoil available to more classes.
Rework Boris, Crawford, Angel.
Change Irish APS to only block anti-infantry grenades.

Nerf Falck self-healing & Mackay nimble trait.
Soflam/Dart useless cause engi 99% Lis.
Stop vehicles from sniping infantry from 400+meters.

I really like the new classes system, now it feels like a proper BF game.

What i like about it, is that every class by default is bringing something to the "table", well except of Assault Class.

Now as Engineer i always have access to repair tool and AT or AA.

As Recon, access to Spawn beacon.

As Support to either Medikit or Ammo box, this is were you "dropped the ball". By default most of players, for a good reason choose medikit.

Ammo box needs similarly to be part of some class as a default gear, not as optional gear.

You gotta give it to Assault class, since you don't have other classes left.  Previous BF games made it working, "reinventing wheel" here is just silly.

Each class should by default bring something to table. I would rather bring in ammobox than Armor Plates or instead of Med-pen.

Medikit can always save my life in critical moment and if i need ammo, I'm just gonna pick that +15 bullets from downed player. Which seems like, is a general approach with players.You only need ammo box if you're playing as engineer and it's not working chief. 

Other thing would be, to prevent assault squad camping with ammo and sniper rifles. Maybe locking Sniper rifles only to Recon class would be good.

why not all weapons into their traditional classes so you get that "proper battlefield game" feel?

• Extra Assault Rifle mags are handy 
• Irish is even more useful now with fast revives + APS + ammo/heals
• Revives and repairs look to be up, which is a good thing

  • Boris and Crawford (w/ Turrets) feel off with M5/FXAA/JAV

  • Spawn Beacon with a limit? Maybe change that to self-spawn limit, but if the whole point of the beacon is to have squad members spawn together, limiting this doesn't make sense.

Anything you'd like to see changed?

• I NEED MOAR LOADOUTS! Seriously though, I need at least two per class, one is killing me, and I waste too much time in the menu or at an Angel crate changing things out.
• Align some of the classes to better fit Specialists (since the assumption is you won't move them to other classes)
  • Give Paik the ability to spot those who spot her (in addition to only damaging her) to give her ability more of a Recon flavor
  • Add DMRs to Recon Weapons perk
  • Rao still feels like he is between classes
• As above, give Lis the ability to use other shoulder-fired weapons, but make them share a global cooldown.
• Need more squad management tools, commands, squad functions (create, join, leave, lock, kick), and scoring to support class structure.

Classes have always been a good staple of BF. I love the return to classes, but they need to be made in the way that BF4 handled them. Generic soldiers. This crap about having everyone be unique and different is ruining the game play. Is this what you are doing to make everyone feel "special" now? if so, gross.

The main problem with BF2042 is the TTK/TTD. It takes almost 3 seconds to kill someone, yet I die in 1/3 of a second. Complete and utter *. I'm done with Battlefield now if this is not fixed. It ruins the game play, ruins the immersion and the game is frustrating.
