I know this is a three month old thread but it’s even worse since this new update. I have watched players that are low level so probably joined to get the free bf6 skins etc literally snapping from one target to another in quick succession and many have no recoil and trace your movement like a laser. I also play with cross play turned off so something is off. I can aim at a player shoot and before I can get the kill I’m took out by what seems like two or three shots hitting me and it’s always head shots. Not everyone is using a zen but there are definitely quite a few that are couple that with the way some of these newer players are moving is crazy so got to be some sort of mouse and keyboard action going unnoticed.
Snapping to targets is in no way a reliable metric for catching cheaters. I snap to new targets all the time. It's a skill you learn. And yes, I am very new to BF2042. The last BF I played was BF4 6-7 years ago on XBox.
