Why DICE? Why EA?Weapon bloom makes little sense for this game. Recoil and hipfire spread does. Weapon bloom is pure sadistic cruelty. I have at this point missed more shots in a match, maybe two, due to weapon bloom, than the entirety of my Battlefield career!This is a screwed up mechanic that serves no purpose other than to make players miss shots, spend digital ammo, and hate your game more when they had a player dead to rights and RNG decides to punish them.This is not Battlefield anymore...this is a botchling approximation of it.

@Noodlesocks That's called spread increase and has been in Battlefield forever. Controlling spread increase and decrease by tap firing has always been a skill in BF games.

Stop listening to those noobs it's always I, I, I and me, me me in there video's. Listening to them complain why they can't kill everybody they shoot at is so sad. Then to jump onboard the specialist hate train because that gets you more likes is just plain sad.Game balance and gun balance has to change to deal with 128p so and it is a work in progress so whats new in gaming.

Yeah, needs to be removed completely. It's one thing for guns to have a certain degree if inaccuracy depending on what type of gun they are. A SMG shouldn't be as accurate or have the range of an assault rifle but no matter how much you shoot, the bullets should always be going where the gun is aiming. The accuracy of that weapon needs to be consistent with each shot. The degree of randomness shouldn't increase with every shot.

@Noodlesocks I think Spread and Bloom are the same thing. the term "bullet spread" typically gets used in games like Battlefield while "bloom" is more commonly used in Destiny or Halo. the term Bloom is used when the crosshair represents the change of accuracy.

The bullet spread cone can get bigger if you just hold the trigger.

Yes, spread increase/bloom/random deviation although often used interchangeably, is not the same as spread. It has featured to varying degrees in previous games but never as egregious as in 2042. Even Battlefield 4 handled it better.

Yeah, Battlefield 5 easily had the best gunplay of the series cause it largely done away with the bloom nonsense. If you could control the recoil in that game you were rewarded, not punished.

@Noodlesocks That is SIPS, Spread Incrase Per Shot and should prevent spamming the trigger.

Without it, you get BFVs Action Man and that wasn't fun.
