Although for now it looks like Battlefield 2042 will be one of the better titles in Battlefield series, what do you think is still preventing you from instant pre-ordering this game?
For me it is lack of some kind of offline mode.
For me it's the lack of details on communication/ teamwork based gameplay
4 man squads is quite concerning to me, considering I will only be able to communicate with 3 other people on my 64 player team,
Would be an instant pre-order for me if we got some details on ability to increase squad size in Portal or even better Proximity voice chat options
@rainkloud I believe they have already said you can play solo against AI with the rules set as you want.
That's the hope, but Community games in BFV has a 4 player minimum before you could access vehicles so if that stays the same that would be problematic. Sure I could fill with bots but unless I can set them to null AI and freeze them I'll have to contend with sweaty bots interrupting my tests.
Cheating is the bottom line for me. When we are informed on what plans they have for catching and dealing with cheats I'll then decide to buy the game or not.

BFV is unplayable right now on PC. It has became a point where you start wishing the hackers in your team are better than the hackers in the other team. Literally 3 to 5 hackers per team in every single server (Singapore server).
Agree. Either we get private 365/24/7 servers with full admin control or a working AC. Been here since BF1942 but are not playing another BF game again without. It has been realy bad since BF 4.

All of the reasons mentioned above; no info whatsoever about system specs, anti-cheat, actual multiplayer gameplay or RSP. And I've just read that Portal "initially" won't be ranked, so yeah we know what that means... a fresh reminder of BFV's promises.
Yup, I agree with you regarding owning a dedicated server.
If their concern of people owning dedicated server was ruining the game because of abusive admins, operations underground maps only (sooner or later, all servers gonna just run this map 24/7), then they should just limit the options we have as an owner/admin of a server.
Maybe just give the option to choose which game mode (Conquest, Breakthrough, Grand Operations, etc..) you want your server to be and the option to kick anyone suspected of hacking.
Also, regarding the abusive admin part, set a clear guide line on when a kick is allowed. Hackers only. Abusive language, disrespect to admins should not be kicked. Players should have the option to report servers for abusive admins. It will be so much easier for the EA or Battlefield team to deal with server admin abuse reports than deal with hackers report as the list should be a million times lesser.
