What will happen for DICE after developing Battlefield 2042?

@Player55I do not think they will go for another Battlefront.
Disney and some of Lucasfilm did a great job sinking the Star Wars brand with their horrid fanfiction trilogy.

If BF2042 is a success, they will probably stay on it for a while. Some may ofc start working on the next sequel or a new IP.

At least it seems that this will go better than BFV by virtue of DICE not creating bad PR with self destructive statements this time.

After this mess of a beta, I would rather go back to Battlefront II and play it for a longer time.

I'm still hoping that DICE will make new content for Battlefront II until the contract expires in 2023, after they finished releasing Battlefield 2042 in the market.

Besides, I doubt that Battlefront III will happen due to time constraints(their time remaining in their license with Disney)...

I think i saw a article that EA &/and DICE are on Rocky relationships

Could this mean EA either loses DICE or puts em in LTD/Limited control?

pretty sure like they will either split the teams by half on battlefront III or just dedicate all their efforts to 2042

I'm hoping for a Battlefront III someday but I don't think it will happen now, considering that some devs like Guiillaume Mroz or Dennis Brannvall left the team, the deal is expiring in 2023 so they will have little time to produce the game before it if Battlefield 2042 will be delayed in 2022 so the chances of having a new Battlefront game after Battlefield 2042 releases are low sadly...

I bet concept artists and producers are allready working on the next Battlefield in the series.

That's usually how it works, concept artist aren't just gonna sit around waiting while others are finalizing the produkt, they will jump on to the next.
