please read these posts and other comments, maybe they work for you. its a weird problem that doesn't have one specific solution for everyone. it varies for different people depending on their system.

Summarize your bug When I attempt to launch the game the Easy anti cheat window will load and close, then the 2042 windows will open, will stay black and crash back to either the EA app or Origin, both dont work.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch the game, if it launches you dont have the bug
What happens when the bug occurs? Game fails to launch
What should be happening instead? It should launch

Hi there, I was advised to repost this on the Bug forum from the Technical Issues forum.

Hi there,
I've been having this issue for the past 8 days, It happened right after I did my annual windows reinstall on my computer and have been troubleshooting ever since. 

What has been happening is when I attempt to open Battlefield 2042 it opens and loads the Easy Anti-Cheat screen, it will then attempt to launch the game but will instantly black screen and crash back to the EA App. I would like to stress that absolutely nothing changed hardware wise on my computer between reinstalling windows, it is the exact same physical system as it was before when it was working perfectly. 

I have done almost everything that I could find on the internet and other EA forum posts, I have reinstalled windows on my different drives, I have reseated and tested ram, I have gone through and updated all my drivers, I Have tried to repair and launch the game on both the EA app and Origin (Neither worked), I have unplugged all peripherals, re-updated my BIOS, disabled my XMP, launched in safe mode, repaired and reinstalled Easy Anti Cheat, Launched all in administrator, I have ran all the sfc and dism windows commands. Even an entirely fresh boot of windows with only my drivers and the game installed does not work. 

I struggle to believe that it is my system as its relatively new still and I had no issues at all with the game until I reinstalled windows last week.

There are a couple of system files crashing so run system file checker for that:

Install the DirectX Runtime Installer:

Make sure you have all the .Net stuff installed too.

Done all that already im afraid. Made no difference. 

hello had same issue i went into local files clicked on the easyanticheat folder and the click on EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and repair services

Seems like I'm in this state AGAIN. So going to have to repair every launch?? ☹️

As posted by someone else, it's the easy anti cheat that's the problem. Run the /game folder/easyanticheat/EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and click repair. Next launch of the game will work.
