Solved

Anti cheat error

Until now the game ran without any problems, but today it shows this.

I've tried almost everything about this error.

My specs:
I7-12700k
Asus dual oc 4070 super
ddr 32gb ram

  • After a long maintenance period, the problem was resolved and the computer was repaired as a bonus.
Here are the steps that followed :

    --Solution--
    - Installing Driver 577.0 Nvidia
    - Complete reinstallation of Battlefield 2042 and the EA app

    --Related to user only --
    - Complete restoration of Windows 11 (manually) (Corrupted)
    - BIOS update and default settings (ASrock) (Ram problem and CPU)

    - Resolution of bottlenecks and all issues related to computer performance (lag, SSD problems, etc.)

    Enjoy the game hulksmashking911  😄

  • This worked for me... Thank you! I performed the Windows 11 repair and installed NVidia 577.00 driver and BF2042 fired right up! I played all week with no crashes and clean play. As a test, yesterday I updated my Nvidia driver to the the current driver 581.15 released on Aug 28, 2025 and the game didn't get passed the BF2042 splash screen. Reloaded 577.00 and BF2042 fired right up with clean play and no crashing. There is something in the current driver that this games anticheat doesn't like!

    Nonetheless...

Thank you again for your help!

But it can't be that we have to completely reinstall our systems just because your software is causing problems....

    Hi Bl4ckHC

Please read carefully, this is a indivual case. At no point is it necessary to restore your system...
The user had a Windows 11 system that was completely corrupted by something else, unrelated to EA or Battlefield.
The solution to his problem was to install driver 577 and reinstall Battlefield.

    Have great day 😀
