Anticheat use too much CPU
Hello, Battlefield 2042's Anticheat uses more CPU (or rather the entirety) than the game itself. When you join any game, the Anticheat consumes the entire amount of CPU. You can't disable it in the...
Same, I posted on reddit to see if anyone else had the same issues. And after the mountain of unhelpful people who just told me to "Upgrade or Uninstall", a kind person redirected me here.

The anticheat is straight up stealing resources from your game, no matter the configuration.
An anticheat service shouldn't need 33% of an 8 core CPU that is above the recommended spec. Just adding myself to the list of people online affected by this.
Specs:

Update to my issue. My theory now is that windows is reading the games CPU percentage and showing it as the anti cheat software in task manager, since it's hooked onto the game.
Somehow it thinks that Battlefields CPU load is part of the Anti Cheats CPU load. Meaning that the anti cheat is not actually stealing resources from your PC.
My issue came down to me being so quick to blame your software, and not realizing that my monitors VRR is kinda out of sync with the game.Making it judder at below 70fps.
It's fine on other games, just not BF. Probably just my screen though.
Since I'm already here I'd love FSR 2 added onto the game! For us GPU bound Pascal and AMD card users at Ultrawide 1440p or 4k 🥹
Either that or a resolution slider with sharpness options. (The auto resolution option has been causing me massive fps drops)
I lowered my resolution and all of the problems I mentioned went away. (Game just looks blurry now, even with NVidia image scaling ontop)
I agree! My system is definitely a 1080p only system. Up-scaling is heavily used in most games nowadays. I cannot wait to upgrade, just waiting on decent prices for a 4k card.(Praying 4080 drops to $700)
Same to you!
