Audio Drop/Corrupted : Focusrite Scarlett

If you use default windows drivers it should work but you won't have the fancy features. You can also increase your buffer size and it is said to work.

It's why I went with a Creative G6, I just use windows drivers and it works right out of the box. I hope Focusrite can come up with a solution for you though.

It was not from focusrite. We are since 2 month on this topic but EA/DICE dont even look at it. Even there is 5 page.

Just set your buffersize to 256 / sample rate 48000 for the moment.

This is probably some major bug in this game, it will take some time to dig it out in the millionth code xD.

I reduced the intensity of this problem by using commands

Thread.ProcessorCount X
Thread.MaxProcessorCount X
Thread.JobThreadPriority 1
GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount X

X = numer of logical threads in ur core - 1

- 1 to relieve one thread.

Instead of X, you enter the number of threads minus one.

which I saved in user.cfg so as not to type them every time. The problem still occurs, but much less frequently.

The only solution is to set the Buffersize to 256 minimum.

There is nothing about what you are saying DMGG1994.

Hi All, 

We are aware of these issues, and from what we can gather so far the issues everyone is getting are related to EA anti-cheat software. I have submitted our audio driver to EA to be added to their whitelist program, I am not sure how long this will take but is a step forward to getting this resolved for everyone. 

If anyone is also getting audio issues outside of Battlefield or any other EA game e.g. when using just Discord, Youtube, Spotify etc I would recommend contacting our support directly as you could be having additional issues on top of the EA anti-cheat issues. Live chat or email would be the best as we can look at and analyse PC files and send you links to articles directly to help resolve issues outside of EA games.

On Realtek drivers is same problem with Audio Drop/Corrupted

Did you try the @Mofunkles tips on an other thread only for Realtek ?

"Go to the BF2042 install folder, open the anticheat folder and run it's installer.  Select BF2042 from the drop down menu and uninstall.  Close the anti-cheat installer and run BF2042, the game will redownload the anti-cheat."

He say it work for him. Let's us know for you.
