This is an issue for me. Im on ps5 and my friend is on PC. For both of us it shows that message where no matches are found. I checked the version of my copy and its definitely ps5. Please fix this. Im certain there are several of us wanting to cross play with buddies but cant due to this bug. Again, im not on a last gen console.
We even tried using origin. We found eachother there and were able to accept friend request but within the game its like we dont exist to eachother
same issue here, i'm o, ps5 and my friend on xbox series X; we don't exist in game.
The way I fixed it was the following;
both people join the same portal server at the same time with minimal players. Play 5 minutes or until the round finishes.
once finished, head back to the “social” tab on the main screen. Here you will be able to look at “recent players” and your friends name will be here. From here you can add them as a friend, and they will appear when online making it easier to “squad up” with them.
Yes it works now it started working properly after the 3rd patch
It seemed to fix itself after the third patch. You can send me one and see if it works.
