Battlefield 2042 Ban appeal Case History not updating

Hello,

I submitted an appeal regarding a Battlefield 2042 ban, but I have not been given a clear reason why the ban occurred. I am a casual player who usually only plays on weekends or when I have time off from work, so this situation has been unexpected.

The case status now shows “Incident Update Provided,” but the case history text box will not expand, which means I cannot see what the update actually says. On top of that, I have not received any emails from EA regarding this appeal, so I have no way to know what was communicated.

Has anyone else experienced this issue where the case history shows an update but nothing is visible, and no email is sent? Is there a known workaround, or do I need to wait for the support team to fix it?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you, Steeve_BF , I really appreciate your reply and guidance. I understand the forum team cannot lift the ban, and I’ve gone ahead and resubmitted my appeal through the EA support channels.

For context, my Battlefield 2042 account was banned for “Competitive Advantage,” but I believe it was flagged incorrectly. In my final games before the ban, I played Recon with a motion sensor placed near objectives, which gave me high spot XP and assists. While this boosted my score quickly, it was entirely within normal gameplay mechanics. The only background software running was Logitech G Hub and Tobii Experience for my Tobii eye tracker, both legitimate utilities.

I was wondering if you’ve ever seen a ban occur in a situation like this, where normal gameplay or common background software might have triggered the penalty.

Thanks again for your time and help.

  • Hi Carbon_Aero10

[First of all unfortunately, we cannot lift your ban in the forum. I sincerely hope that EA's support team will be able to resolve this issue.
You can appeal your penalty by following the instructions in the article : Get information about EA account locks, bans, or suspensions]

What might help is to politely contact EA support again.
Explain that the call history field is inaccessible in the interface, despite the indication of an update (“Incident Update Provided”). Also mention that you have not received any emails, which prevents you from seeing the status of your case.

    Have a nice day,🙂
    And good luck
