Every time I launch BF 2042, I get the first loading screen then the game crashes. No error message, it just shuts down and I keep trying but nothing seems to work.
So, I validating files on origin and it seems to have re downloaded the game. The first boot I had the same crash, but the second time I booted it, it worked. So far no issues.
Do not try to follow any instructions spread over the Net it won't work. Specifically do not touch your windoze installation. I tried to reinstall BF 2042 clean, run it under admin, nothing is helping so far. I've inquired EA staff and what's I've got in response: Ankita (12/10/2021, 5:02:39 PM): I would like to inform you that this is a know issue. Many of our players is facing this issue right now. I bet my next FPS will be Call of Duty.

I cleared the EA cache using the APP recovery utility and it fixed it
I have this problem Aswell on a fresh install of windows, i have i5-10400f with rtx 3060 ti 16gb of ram and i run the lates Nvidia drivers from 3/23/2023. At first the game worked but then it crashed mid game Wich never happened to me in any game with my system and from there it didn't work , nothing worked, i scanned the game 20 times and nothing i wish EA never discontinued Origin.
