But on the other hand my Legion laptop runs BF2042 just fine with latest nvidia drivers, riot vanguard anticheat running and my GPU melting.... It must be something else deep down in the system compatibility hole...
Dang that is really weird. I wish EA would have visibility on these issues more.
I thought I had something that might’ve worked which was completely remove the EA AntiCheat from my PC, then go to
https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/ea-anticheat/
to download and install a fresh anti cheat. It worked, but then when I closed down the game and reopened I went into the same issues again. SMH
