@CartoonCat1562I mean this game was fine for a few days at least for me, then it started crashing very often so there's no way to know if your new Xbox is actually fine, it could just be the game. There's no real source of a bad batch of Series X and clearly since it's only happening with this game on my end I still think this is related to the the game in some way
Well my boy has 3 series x now he had 2 at my house the first one I bought near release date and that’s the one that’s broken
he has a newish one at his mums and it plays the game fine
and now I bought another for him at mine and it don’t have a problem with the game
i got sus when he could play battfieldfield on the one at his mums but not the one at mine then I bought him that 2k23 wrestling game
he played it perfectly at his mums and again crashed at mine (these are the only 2 games that crashed)
so I decided to buy him a new one and now both games are fine.
why would Microsoft of a repair free of charge?
they know here is dodgy batches and never said anything. Just look at this forum post and I think there is 2 more forum posts as well we all most have a bad batch!
mall I can say at this point is you will never fix it as it’s not the game I tried every thing but if you get a new Xbox Black Friday I bet you the game will work
- 2 years ago@CartoonCat1562 What do you mean by near release date? Because mine was bought in december 2021 so I'm still a bit skeptical about a "bad batch" lasting for more than a year after launch... Even more if you think it only happens with this game and also Starfield for me. Everything else is fine.
I'm not saying this is 100% not the case but it seems unlikely? If it is though this would be a serious problem that should have been addressed by Microsoft- CartoonCat15622 years agoRising Traveler
Well I just looked back and mine was bought on 01st November 2021
i also bought it direct from Microsoft store

- 2 years ago@CartoonCat1562 It would be nice having more feedback about when people having this crashing problem bought their Series X. That would help to know if there really was a manufacturing problem around late 2021, could be a faulty PSU but hard to know for sure without more infos
