BF2042 cannot load into a game

Question

I can boot the game no problem, load into the main menu and navigate all of the tabs fine.

If I try to join a game it goes to a loading screen and then puts me back in the main menu with no error codes or anything.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice onto a different SSD, I have tried clearing caches and rebooting, all drivers and updates are done, tried reinstalling the anti-cheat and the MS distributables, ensuring DX12 is working and also disabled non used display adapters.

EA support has sent me here after 3 failed support attempts. Please someone help.

I am also not sure if this is related but I also have issues loading into battlefront 2 (errors 721, 201)

Looks like network related if only issue here is connecting to online servers.

Go check you ban/restriction status from EA Help page
If you use VPN then try without. If you don't then try with VPN. One free and decent one is 1.1.1.1
(install it, enable and restart your PC)

Other useful things to clean:

1) Clean %Temp% (Remove all removable)
2) Clean AppData\Local\D3DSCache (Remove all folders, subfolders & files inside folders)
3) AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GLCache (Remove all removable folders inside)
4) Verify Game Files in Game Launcher. (you already did)
