BF2042 Crash No error

NVIDIA fix for BF2042 and BF6 has been released: v581.42 - WHQL

The NVIDIA GPU fix is finally released which prevents crashes on startup of BF2042 as well as BF6. And of course some enhancements. So we can finally update our NVIDIA Drivers from v577.00 to v581.42 !!

I've found the same post yesterday and it also fixed it for me. 

I've also been testing and playing with these settings and narrowed it down to "Randomize memory allocations (Bottom-up ASLR)".
As soon as I disable it, everything works. All the other options aren't needed (in my case).

Since changing these settings may compromise your system security, I would advise to only disable the options needed to make your game work. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DISABLE THESE SETTINGS GLOBALLY! 

On Steam, since todays install and setup of BF6 Open Beta, BF2042 crashes at the full title screen before entering main menu whenever the loading crosshair indicator appears at the center of the screen.

I tried to verify gamefiles, repaired EAAntiCheat, deleted BF2042 settings, deleted various caches and temp files ... but nothing

BF2042 creates a 3 MB encrypted crashdump each time, which I clearly wont share here on public. BF6 Open Beta runs without issues.

Same issue here, both BF2042 and also the BF6 Open Beta (freezes in menu).
Issue started after enabling Secure Boot.

Nope, still crashing. Literally only game I have issue with is 2042, everything else works fine and runs smooth

0xc0000005 is usually a RAM memory error. Try disabling any RAM overclocking in BIOS such as XMP and EXPO.

Upgrading motherboard BIOS might help too.

Hey, correct I do have a 6750 XT. Driver downgrade doesn't work either.

I've heard Radeon 6000 series GPUs are having issues when the newest Radeon driver version 25.6.1 . Perhaps installing an older driver version 25.3.1 will help fix the freezing.
