BF2042 doesn't launch after Easy Anti Cheat (EA app & Origin)

I unistalled EA App and reinstalled.  I logged in via steam option and click passed the normal steam stuff.  EA App said it needed to adjust permissions.  After that I can now run Titan Fall2 and BF 2042 again.

    @Dresta If you are referring to my icon; it's a random default image of a car assigned by EA. I have played Necromancers in a few games.

      @kirtcars No, I am referring to the fact you replied to a dead thread. It is called necro'ing a thread, in this case the conversation died back in july. If you had new information, or trouble you would have been better off starting a new thread.

    I work in IT and we welcome answers going way back.  I worked on a 2003 server a few months back.  Some problems are out there forever unanswered but high on the google search results.  I try my best to answer them as they come (via google algorithm, along with many others stuck where I was)   For a while I looked and several high ranked search results until finding a good answer and move on with life, but I started a few years back answering them.  My thinking is maybe a new thread would never rise above the established interest of past dead threads.
