BF2042 mid-game crash on PS5
My game crashes 100% of the time while I'm in matches. Occasionally I'm able to play 2-3 matches, but for the most part the game randomly freezes and crashes whereafter I;m returned to the PS5 homesc...

Update: BF2042 just hard crashed again after 1 hour 26 minutes.
Is the console light still on when it does this? I take it there is no sound either from tv or joypad. Strange you are no getting any error codes recorded. A sudden freeze or lose of power is meant to be recorded.
im only asking these questions in case anyone else has any ideas just so there is a bigger picture.
EDIT: In all honesty Id just Reinstall the System Software (not the update) from USB if you feel you've tried everything else. I've did it three times now on different PS4's and it wasn't too difficult a task. You'll get the OS from the Official Playstation website.
Mine only does it on the bf2042 game ive played hours of spiderman on max resolution settings it only happens when I play 128 player bf I don't think it's done it on 64 players so it obviously can't handle 128 players with so much going on, I bought the gold edition so I could transfer from ps4 to my ps5 I want a refund as this is not the only thing, I cannot believe there is NO scoreboard as it might offend someone HOW will it that's bs, bf4 and bf1 in my opinion were the best fps games ever made and I'm a cod player since cod 4 but this (bf2042) has gone in such a different direction like all AAA nowadays thinks copying fortnite is the way to go all fps games in the past couple years are greed driven and short term gains the poor devs can make amazing games but can't even use there vision because stupid dead lines and catering for part time players with pocket money for skins, such a sad time to be a gamer ☹️ epic ea activision should be ashamed these games are no where near finished on release in some cases alphas/beta games feels bad for the devs
