Hello all
After i installed the latest nvidia drivers i went back to origin and said "repair"
and when doing that it came up with this error message as the screenshot
Do you have BF2042 installed on a separate drive from the Origin Client and EAC? I've seen some cases in the past where that has led to similar errors.

Hello
Thank you for the reply
No the games and origin are installed on the same drive
BUT
the drive is a PCIE ICYDOCK drive - no sata drives on the system

I have the same issue as @HeroCllass
My scenario is that my Windows 11 got broken by a major update. So I installed a fresh Windows 11 install on a new NVMe drive .
I only installed Windows + Updates, AMD Chipset drivers, latest NVIDIA driver (the same driver I was using yesterday before I reinstalled), Steam + Origin.
I can all other BF games and other EAC games like Apex Legends, except BF2042.

Hello
Hi 5
I am not longer alone in the world!
now lets see how we get around this.....
it cant be EAC becaues it works in about 6 other games i play.....
it would be nice if EA/developer would do a clean install of windows on a new machine and test install.....maybe windows broke something in an update
