Black screen and or freeze
I re installed battlefield 2042 July 30th. I'm able to play one match when the match ends I see the ribbon score screen the battle pass score screen then after that it goes to black screen with sound...

@UnconformedOg exclude bf2042 from onedrive.
Better to disable onedrive before ya start game.
if ya dont need onedrive, then just uninstall it.

Hi, thank you. Yes I have one drive disabled. As a test, I deleted everything in the one drive bf 2049 cache folder, and then loaded the game.
Files are being written to it.
I have not finished trying to purge one drive, however an uninstall is one of the first things I tried and it did not work. I have tried running a few scripts to remove it but am yet to find success. As far as I can tell it is deeply emended into Windows. Perhaps MS are split testing allowing some ppl to remove it and others not, IDK.
@UnconformedOg do uninstall onedrive (disable it) ya could use windows10debloater.
BUT i have to say , read first before ya do anything !!
Its very easy to delete software that ya need late, ALWAYS make sure ya can do a RESTORE to a previous date, or restore it with windows10debloater <- if ya know how it works !
Its all at youre own risk , any software damage is not me or either any person/company responsible for the mistakes you made !!

I would not advise anyone DL software form an attachment in a forum post.
On another note, when I try uninstall it, it says the EXE can not be found. So I have done some purging. As I said, I have diabled it, and files are still written to it.
As a user
I want my files stored locally and not replicated to one drive
So I can minimize disruptions causes by sync issues with a cloud service@UnconformedOg file is posted is from github 🙂

But if onedrive keep poppingup, isnt there any issue with youre windows it self ?

If nothing else works then do a
