Black screen and or freeze
I re installed battlefield 2042 July 30th. I'm able to play one match when the match ends I see the ribbon score screen the battle pass score screen then after that it goes to black screen with sound...

@UnconformedOg do uninstall onedrive (disable it) ya could use windows10debloater.
BUT i have to say , read first before ya do anything !!
Its very easy to delete software that ya need late, ALWAYS make sure ya can do a RESTORE to a previous date, or restore it with windows10debloater <- if ya know how it works !
Its all at youre own risk , any software damage is not me or either any person/company responsible for the mistakes you made !!

On another note, when I try uninstall it, it says the EXE can not be found. So I have done some purging. As I said, I have diabled it, and files are still written to it.

I want my files stored locally and not replicated to one drive
So I can minimize disruptions causes by sync issues with a cloud service

But if onedrive keep poppingup, isnt there any issue with youre windows it self ?
it's possible your windows is broken
If nothing else works then do a

this issue is seems to have something with the matchmaking process of the game itself and nothing related to the H/W or the operating system as i got the same issue on ps5 console since s3 i got black screen sometimes while matchmaking see this video:

and from S4 there is no blackscreen anymore, but it stay at the loading page and the match will never starts see this video here:even at the match end the entire game freezes, i can control my console, but only the game freezes and i should close it and then start it again see this video:
so what i wanted to say is that the game still broken and have this issue even with the s4 update, and all of these programms and tools you suggest to install will not help if the core of the game is broken this tools will not fix the game. But thx for your contribution i really appreciate it.

Many other people got no isseus , that is the reason why they want to see/investigate youre system hardware and software config !
Even poeple with lower specs got it running without any problems, yeah game bugs like stinger no lock sound ect ect ect
Its tricky sometime to find the issue , if its outdated hardware/software or any other issue network, corrupt windows/registry , settings (or even console issues with files / settings) ect ect ect.
If everyone got the same issues like you for example , cuased by s4. then this forum would be realy crowded and some x 1000 more topics would be made and be in posted !!
I got no issues, only ingame bugs as stinger sound for example !
