Can't connect to online servers series x

So recently when I tried to launch the game it boots to the main menu where it states connecting to online services but just stays there until eventually,  it crashes back to dashboard with no error. I've tried all of the following:

1. Hard reset

2. Reset all modem/router settings

3. Different connections (currently wired but tried wireless and using other wireless internet)

4. Factory reset bit kept games/apps

5. Uninstalled/reinstalled full game

6. Cleared saved game data

7. Cleared persistent storage in settings

8. Tried unlinking/linking ea with xbox account

I own the game digitally (bought the $99 version at launch)

I pay for Xbox Game pass Ultimate

My kids in same household on same isp connect just fine. I don't know what else to do.

  • @EA_Aljo Thanks for assisting. The problem was the xbox insider alpha build. Removed myself from the insider program and once I have the released version of the xbox os installed, BF worked straight away.

Thanks, everyone for the details on the Xbox Inside alpha build being the issue here. I'll get it passed on to the team.

  • Struggling to find answer/fix

    xbox series S console

  • Hi all,

Today we got an update to de Alpha Skip ahead preview program on Xbox, and it addressed the problem.

Now the ones that are in the Xbox Alpha program can play fine (At least on my end)

Now let's hope this version of the preview goes public soon, since with the others rings as well as the retail version,

I was beeing disconnected mid game almost for every game.

    Have a nice day.

    Hey @DkRBenny,

Good to hear that the recent update of the Alpha Skip Ahead firmware fixed the issue. However, we still would not recommend installing this Alpha firmware as it's known to cause issues (as you might have noticed).

    • I can confirm that it's back lol. I was playing fine throughout Thursday and Friday with no issues whatsoever and now either because of an Xbox update or something they did on the backend I am back to eternally connecting on the main menu. I am once again sad as I was having fun, but oh well time to wait once again.

    Hey @Shai_Kakuja,

Are you back on the Xbox Insider firmware branch or something along those lines?
