    Fixed the issue on my end by right clicking on the game in the Steam library, going to Properties, the Controller tab, and selecting "Disable Steam Input" on the drop down settings.  Hope it works for you guys too, good luck!

If you have any HOTAS, Pedals, Joystick or other input peripherals attached, remove those and retry, thanks.

@EA_Barry Is there any update regarding the issue. I’ve tried multiple controllers as mentioned above, including a ps5 controller. I even loaded the game after uninstalling the drivers of my mouse to see if perhaps a secondary peripheral was causing the issue, and issue still persists. I don’t have any of the peripherals you mentioned in your response. I understand it is a beta and bugs are expected, but this seems like a rather big oversight. The game is basically unplayable and everyone here payed to have early access.
